Yacht Venues for Filming Locations --For the convenience of your yacht charter and charter boat needs, boarding is available out of San Pedro / Marina del Rey / Redondo Beach / Long Beach / Newport Beach.

“Odyssey” is a private luxury yacht available for filming locations and location shoots for film, video, TV, commercials and print, either dockside or on the water. Large private commercial dock is available for dockside shoots. Huge bow and seating area for models, large main salon and aft salon sufficient for production staff, cameramen and production equipment. The Odyssey Yacht is also an excellent host or chase boat to follow the shoot boat or as transportation to other water shooting locations. “Odyssey” is also the perfect venue to host your pre or post production parties.

We have done a number of film shoots and have hosted various type parties, as well as many other kinds of social and corporate events aboard the "Odyssey" with everyone having a great time at these very successful functions. Your production crew can enjoy the added ambiance of party decorations and the optional lighting effects aboard your own private yacht during your on-the-water event. With a décor that is both traditional and elegant, this private luxury yacht has everything - including a large main solon plus a rooming aft solon providing adequate room for equipment, socializing, karaoke or dancing. You can also “shoot”, as well as guests can also congregate on the large fly-bridge upper deck or on the expansive seating area on the bow. For the added enjoyment of your guests, the “Odyssey” is equipped with a full stereo system, including CD & IPOD capability with speakers throughout. A Magic Mic Karaoke System with 2,000 songs and two wireless microphones is also available for the added entertainment of your guests. For your added convenience, the “Odyssey” has a “wet bar” in the main solon, three private heads (restrooms), full galley and three private staterooms comfortably sleeping six.

In addition, we offer the flexibility for you to cater your own food and beverages, which a number of our customers prefer because of the additional cost savings. However, if you prefer, we can also make arrangements for you to have your event catered.

The “Odyssey” is not just your ordinary harbor cruise yacht, this elegant, private luxury charter yacht is a unique concept that combines a traditional harbor cruise boat with a “fully stabilized”, ocean going yacht equipped with “gyro-controlled, hydraulic stabilizers” for the utmost in passenger comfort and safety on the open ocean, as well as in the harbor. For your added protection and safety, the “Odyssey” is a fully-insured, “US Coast Guard Inspected Vessel” certified to carry up to 49 passengers, plus an U.S.C.G. Licensed Captain and Certified Crew.

In reference to pricing: We normally charter our vessel by the hour, but offer a volume discount depending on the number of hours, the day of the week, the type of operation, the "season" and the marina harbor area at which you prefer to board. We have found it more cost effective for our clients for us to customize a yacht charter package to match their particular requirements.
